My baby turns 2.

Yes it's making me very sad the realisation that my baby is 2...we had the most magical morning tea to celebrate the occasion. All the kids with teddy bears in tow played on the grass & made their own games & fun. Whilst all us big kids enjoyed a coffee from the nearby cafe & some of the most delicious cakes made by my special friend Lea.

I managed to get a great shot of the 3 girls on our way back to the car.

It's been too long I know...

So much has happened in the last few months that I feel like I've been organising & not actually doing. With all the end of year concerts, celebrations it's been a whirl wind & now school is back in a little over a week & I don't want the holidays to end.

It started with middle misses dance concert & 12 hours sewing on sequins. I am by far a dance Mum as my sewing is dedicated to a machine & at best that is very rough & ready but alas my middle girl looked like a contestant on little miss sunshine & that is exactly what she wanted to be...hair, make up & lots of sequins!!! Can't say I like the out fit bu I was very impressed with her dancing & endless waving to her favourite audience member my big bro & her uncle chris..

Then we had Big Girls dancing for the school variety show...doing a nice country number..
Along with that we've had Christmas & countless lovely family get togethers

the arrival of 2010 & also the extension on the house is well under way & as exciting as it all is it's starting to get to me just a little bit. I feel like I'm walking the plank every time I enter/exit the house...I think thats because that's what I actually have to do.

So to everyone I hope 2010 is an exciting year for you & I hope you get to enjoy evrything it brings

35 & Sydney!

View from the hotel room...the dryest place for sight seeing!

Going on a ride on the porters luggage trolley...room service!

A break in the weather for a photo moment!

Grey skies & the habour bridge...we love Sydney!

Well it's happy birthday to me today & I've reached 35 years & am happy as can be! I don't understand why people hate birthdays. I think I do because of my love of celebrations, food, friends & champers. To make such an event we took the two big girls to Sydney for the weekend & it rained like you wouldn't believe, we spent a lot of time in our Hotel room with the hairdryer in our shoes trying to maintain some dryness for our next treck outside. Husband couldn't beleive that we paid $15.95 for an inhouse movie when we had the city at our toes (wet toes that is) The purpose was to see the Harbour Bridge & the Opera house as the girls had never seen them in quote "true life" unquote. Big girls thrill of the trip was staying up late & Miss middle's favourite thing was having dessert before dinner, an icecream in the pouring rain was the least we could do for them! Little spud stayed home with Poppy & Kerryn & had a blast, but I missed her so much. x So happy birthday to me & here's hoping our 'next' trip to Sydney is filled with the sunshine we missed.

Dinner invitations on hold!

Now that Three Potato Four is expanding & the extension to our home has started we have had to make some sacrifices & the first being the dining room. We not only now have a great space to create but also have some great new shelves to put in the new office once the building is finished. Big girl insisted that she also be provided with her own creative space so the tressel table that was purchased for markets has been taken over & a new one purchased. Even the chandalier has been tied up so that we don't bump our heads (it was above the table so it could hang low!)
